Possum Trot, located in the town of North Myrtle Beach, is consistently voted the "Friendliest Course on the Beach." A great choice for the average golfer, this player friendly Carolina Coast style course features flat, wide-open fairways, large bunkers, lakes, ponds, pampas grass and large mostly flat greens. This parkland course has plenty of pine, oak and palm trees giving it a "woodsy" feeling. Watch out for "Big Possum" the 460 yard, par-4 eleventh, or you might get bit! If that doesn't worry you, try "Holy Cow," "No Mercy," "Oh No," or "Analysis is Paralysis." Possum Trot's old English theme and design provides a pleasant challenge for all golfers. Possum Trot has a 16 acre practice facility, with a driving range complete with chipping, pitching and putting greens along with a practice bunker.
