Located at the northern end of Myrtle Beach's Grand Strand in the town of Little River, Glen Dornoch was created as a tribute to Dornoch, Scotland, the birthplace of golf legend Donald Ross. Blessed with a natural elevation change uncommon for a coastal golf course, each hole flows with the natural terrain of sparkling lakes, ancient live oaks, massive magnolias and spectacular marsh and water views. Pot bunkers on nearly every hole, while waste areas lined with native grasses are common. Superb conditioning is one of the hallmarks of this course. At least 4 holes border one of the most scenic stretches of South Carolina's Intracoastal Waterway where you can stop and watch the occasional boat dance lazily up the waterway.
